Terms and Conditions

Last updated: March 19, 2025

1. About Us

PiratePage is operated by Overlab Holding BV, a company registered under the laws of the Netherlands (KvK: 62935313). In these terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Overlab Holding BV, and "you" refers to the user of PiratePage.

2. What PiratePage Does

PiratePage is an AI-powered tool that generates landing page structures, copy, and messaging based on your input. We help you go from a blank page to a first version in minutes. PiratePage is not a website builder or hosting service — we generate content and structure that you take elsewhere to build.

3. Your Account

You need an account to use PiratePage. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PiratePage to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or harmful
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our AI systems
  • Resell or redistribute PiratePage as your own service
  • Interfere with the operation of the service

5. Your Content

You own the content you provide to PiratePage (your wizard answers, edits, and inputs). You also own the generated output — the landing page copy, structure, and variations we create for you. We do not claim ownership of your content or generated output.

We may use anonymized, aggregated data about how PiratePage is used to improve our service. We will never share your specific content with other users or third parties without your permission.

6. AI-Generated Content

PiratePage uses artificial intelligence to generate content. While we strive for high quality, AI output may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before use. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is free from errors or suitable for any particular purpose.

7. Pricing and Payment

PiratePage offers free and paid plans. Prices are listed on our pricing page. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. We use Paddle as our payment processor (Merchant of Record), meaning Paddle handles billing, VAT, and invoicing on our behalf.

We may change prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not apply to current billing periods.

8. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. After cancellation, you keep access until the end of your current billing period. We may terminate your account if you violate these terms, with reasonable notice where possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Overlab Holding BV is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.

10. Availability

We aim to keep PiratePage available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any downtime.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of PiratePage after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. If you are a consumer in the EU, you retain the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.
